Our philosophy?

It always starts and ends with the traveller. Our approach is to listen, being sensitive and concerned about you. We would like to offer you a custom-made service to best suit your personality, your wishes, your needs, to meet your interests and expectations.

Let yourself be tempted by the “Swissness,” live typical and unforgettable experiences away from mass tourism. Take time to discover Switzerland off the beaten track.

OKILEA intends to craft unique, personal trips, designed to suit you.

Our concept?

We listen to you carefully, discuss together with you, we do researches and prepare a number of proposals for you to consider. Either you decide to organize them, using all the needed information we provide you. Or we take care of the organization of the holiday you choose.

Who created Okilea?

Cheerful and dynamic wife and mom, the creator of Okilea has been attracted by the world and its differences since her teenage years. She made several trips to Europe, North Africa, American continent, Asia, but really lived this passion when she travelled across the world, by train and boat to the point it was necessary to take a plane. A once-in-a-lifetime experience that gave her the chance to meet people, exchange ideas, live like locals. While being able to rely on the knowledge of her Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Venezuelan friends who were a great help and have facilitated the discovery of their respective countries.

Afterward, while continuing to travel during shorter stays, she has been organizing ski camps for about fifteen years throughout Switzerland, in different places such as chalets in the middle of ski slopes. What could be more stunning then enjoying the beauty of a sunset on the mountains while taking an aperitif on the most beautiful terrace with no one to disturb this unique moment? What is more magic than having the stars as a roof and that moonlight is reflected on the snow like diamonds…

And the idea was born to share these beautiful locations, these fascinating moments with people, to help travellers by providing them with local knowledge as she received it during her wanderings worldwide.

Too often, usual Swiss tourism offers are limited to the highlights of a classic tour in Switzerland, but there is something else beyond that. Bathing in the city’s downtown lake or river and at the same time having the feeling to be in the countryside or hiking with a friend passionate of flora and fauna who tells you where to find carnivorous plants (don’t worry, small ones) in Switzerland, can you believe it? Dining in darkness to experiment what it is like to be visually impaired or blind, and share so many other things.

Each traveller is unique, each travel should be unique.
